Churches and halls mix daily-use spaces with surfaces that cannot take a standard clean: timber pews, brass, stone, stained glass, memorials and painted plaster. Services, funerals, weddings and community programs set the schedule, and volunteers often work alongside contractors. Parish committees and their insurers want the care method recorded, especially where child-related programs run in the same building.

Heritage damage is permanent and expensive, so proof of correct method carries weight. A live record shows the surface treated, the product approved for it, and photos before and after the work. That protects the cleaner as much as the property. It also gives the parish a simple record to hand insurers or a property manager.
