When you need this form

Classrooms turn over fast. Desks, high-touch points, floors, bins and corridors, usually cleaned after hours across a whole campus in one shift. This form records what was done room by room, the safety checks the cleaner made on the way through, and anything that stopped the work: locked rooms, spills, damage, sharps. Schools want that visibility before staff arrive the next morning.

Contract reviews in schools are driven by complaints from individual teachers about individual rooms. Photo evidence tied to a room number and a time settles those quickly, and it shows the rooms that were locked out of scope. Under a child-safety lens it also shows who was on site and when, which a paper sheet in the cleaner's ute cannot.

What good looks like

• Rooms listed individually, with any room skipped and the reason why.
• High-touch points called out: door handles, light switches, shared desks, taps.
• Before and after photos for rooms flagged in the last complaint.
• Hazards recorded on the spot: broken furniture, spills, sharps, trip risks.
• Cleaner identified and signed on, with start and finish times captured.
