Liquid cooled racks changed what a data centre clean involves. Cleaners working near manifolds, hoses and CDUs are often the people most likely to spot a weep, a stain under a coupling or a damp floor tile before monitoring catches it. Colocation and hyperscale clients set strict access controls and expect every visit into those halls to be documented. Equipment warranties also depend on showing the environment was maintained properly.

Escalation speed is the whole point. A cleaner who photographs a damp coupling and raises it inside the form puts it in front of the site team immediately, with the rack location attached. A note left for the next shift does not. The same record later proves the hall was attended and that nothing was touched beyond scope.
